WAITING FAMILIES
You can choose a family for your child!
The following families are currently waiting to adopt through New Life Adoptions. Only a few of our families are posted on our website right now, but more are creating their online profiles even as we write.
Every adoptive family we work with is thoroughly screened, financially prepared, and has agreed ahead of time to an open adoption (if that’s what you choose). Also, all of our families live in the great state of Texas! We think they are pretty amazing, and we know you will too!
Please contact us for further information on other families available and more detailed information on families currently waiting. We look forward to hearing from you.
Tim & Meaghan
Hi! We are Tim and Meaghan. We have been married for over 17 years and have a beautiful 6-year-old daughter named Lily. We have lived in Texas for just about a year and have been loving getting to know the area.
We love to travel, go to amusement parks, watch movies and play board games at home. We also enjoy swimming, playgrounds, the zoo, and trying new restaurants. We are active members in our local church and enjoy being in a loving and supportive place with a vibrant adoption community.
Adoption has always been close to our hearts as a couple. Even after having our biological daughter, God continued to prompt our heart towards adoption. After years of praying and seeking, the Lord opened the door through New Life and has confirmed for us that this is how He wants to grow our family.
Both of us are very close to our parents and siblings, and we try to see each other as often as possible, especially for holidays and special occasions. Everyone is excited to welcome a new baby into the family and can’t wait to love and cherish them. Our hope is to see our new son or daughter grow and thrive as an image-bearer of the one true God.
We are praying for you as you choose a family for your child and would love to be blessed with the greatest gift you could ever give. Your courage and bravery in making this choice is humbling and we greatly admire this tough decision you have made.

Michael & Kayla
Dear Expectant Mother,
First, I want to say thank you for saying “Yes” to life for your child. It is an incredibly brave choice you are making that cannot be overstated. We are praying that you feel loved and supported during this time in your life. We have three biological children, but still feel like our family has room to grow. We have been blessed beyond measure in our home and feel like we are called by God to extend that blessing onto others. We want you to know that we feel called to love and support you whether you decide to parent your child, or if you do decide to pursue adoption. If you do decide on adoption, we would also be honored to partner alongside you in an open adoption as we watch this child grow into the young man or woman that God calls them to be. We want to know you, and we want this child to know you. Praying blessings and peace over your life and all that God has planned for you.

Kevin & Caiti
Hi! We’re Kevin and Caiti. We’ve been married for 9 years and have three beautiful daughters, Amelia (6), Annie (4), and Abigail (1.5). We are an active, fun and welcoming family and we love being together. Our favorite family activities are swimming, playing games, having dance parties and going on road trips. The girls love to snuggle with us, each other, and our dog Hettie. We are often all on the floor playing, cuddling, reading and crafting.
All of us are very close to our extended families and we try to see them as much as possible. Caiti’s parents live around the corner from us and it is such a blessing getting to see their relationships with our children grow and change each week. We both get such joy in watching our children flourish and getting to see how they love each other has us in awe daily.
We have always known adoption would be part of our path towards completing our family, but it was only recently that we felt God nudging our hearts to know that now is the time. We know that His timing is right and you and your baby were part of God’s plan. We want you to know that we support you and pray that you may find peace as you are going through this incredibly difficult process. Our hope is that you know we are here for you and recognize that there is both immense joy and heartbreaking sadness involved in adoption. You are showing true selfless love for your child and your story will always be known in our family. We are so excited to get to know you and see what God’s plan has in store for all of us.
Mauricio & Elizabeth
Hello! We are Mauricio and Elizabeth. We have been married for 10 wonderful years. We met right after college graduation. After 3 years, we got married. Since then, we have spent our time travelling, learning about different cultures and places, and enjoying each other’s company. We now have an active toddler and a silly dog, but what we have been looking forward to the most is God’s greatest gift of all, growing our family.
Mauricio is an accounting manager, while Elizabeth works as an office administrator. We love seeing our future as a family grow from 3 to 4, alongside our dog, exploring our neighborhood trails and park. We both attend our local church, and Mauricio volunteers as part of the finance committee, while Elizabeth helps out as faith-formation teacher. On the weekends, we visit our large, loving family and close friends.
As we begin this journey, we pray for you and the bundle of joy that will soon join our family. May God bless you and keep you close.

Robert & Taylor
Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this. Your courage and strength in making such a difficult decision does not go unnoticed. Your choice to give life to your baby brings so much joy to God.
We have been married for over 3 years. The schools in our area are wonderful and our neighborhood is filled with kids playing in our cul-de-sac.
We rescued our two fur babies and absolutely love the energy they bring to our home. Taylor is a dental hygienist and has been working at the same office almost 10 years. She was born and raised in Michigan. Robert is soon to be a Master Electrician and is a native Texan.
We started our journey with foster care and were able to help 5 children during those 2.5 years. But the pain and struggles of the foster care system eventually led us to close our home in early 2024. Around that time, we discovered Taylor needed a total hysterectomy. Through prayer and faith, God led us to New Life. We are excited about the possibility of you and your family staying connected and being involved in your baby’s life. It would be a joy to have you as a part of this journey. Thank you for considering us in this important time
David & Allison
Howdy! We are David and Allison. We met over 10 years ago at church and were immediately friends. After 7 years of friendship, we started dating and in 2021 we finally got married. We are a fun-loving, adventure-seeking, game-playing family who loves Jesus. We absolutely love our little blended family and are so excited to be on this journey to add another child. We don’t know what feelings you are experiencing right now, but we do thank you for being here. Mostly we want you to know that we will be praying for you and hope we can be a source of love and support to you and your baby, no matter the decision you make.
Even though Allison can no longer have children, we knew we wanted to raise children together. From the time we started dating we knew that we wanted to adopt. In fact, our first deep conversation when we started dating was about adoption! It has always been our first choice for growing our family. We have several family members and friends who have adopted children. They have shown us throughout their journeys that adoption is a very special way to create a family filled with unconditional love and support.
David is a software developer and works from home. Allison is a nurse, but cannot wait to be a stay at home mom when we adopt. Thomas is Allison’s son (18) who lives at home while attending community college. Together we love to travel, play board games, spend time with extended family, serve others on mission trips, dress up for a day at the renaissance festival, or hang out around the house. Allison loves baking, working puzzles, and listening to a good audiobook. David loves roller coasters, video games, and amateur photography. Thomas loves computer games, hanging out with friends, and everything Star Wars. We can’t wait to share all these things with our child.
In our home we value faith, family, and fun. We are excited to provide your child with love, stability, and community in order for them to grow and flourish in our family and in society. We will always be honest and open about how our family came together and we will always speak of you with love and respect. We will always make sure your child knows how loved, accepted, and supported they are!
Jon & Kellie
Hi there! We are Jon & Kellie.
We are so grateful for the chance to get to know you and welcome a child into our home through adoption. Hopefully, this little note helps you get a peek into who we are.
Our little family consists of Jon, Kellie, and our daughter, Noah Grace. We are college sweethearts who met in 2012 and got married in 2016. Jon works in finance and owns his own business, while Kellie spends her days chasing around our daughter.
We’ve always known we wanted to grow our family through adoption. Our daughter was born in June 2023, and our lives were forever changed. Her birth parents are so special to us, and we are eternally grateful for our relationship with them.
We love to be outside, travel, play with our pups, and host people in our home. We are happiest when we are around our people. Our home is never quiet, and there is always music on and people over. We have an open-door policy and love to welcome our friends, neighbors, and family.
We love our little neighborhood where we can walk or bike to nearly everything. We are involved at our church, and our community there is very important to us.
Being parents is the greatest blessing of our lives. Adoption has given us the chance to fall more in love with each other and to better understand the immense love of the Lord our God. Thank you for giving us the gift of continuing to grow our family. We’re so grateful for you and hope to become a part of your story!
Cody & Kaitlin
Hi! We are Cody and Kaitlin and we want you to know that we are in awe of you, your courageous spirit, and your determination to make this decision for your child. You and your child have been prayed for over and over again, and we commit to continue praying for you and your child.
We have been married a little over 4 years, our anniversary is actually on Leap Day: February 29th! We both grew up in Texas and went to college in Texas, where we met. Cody now works for the Texas State Parks, which means we get to visit some of the most beautiful places in Texas on a regular basis.
Kaitlin manages our wedding planning and photography firm, so she gets to work within her creative giftings as well as work from home. Although we consider our jobs to be fun, together we also enjoy camping, reading and going to our local library, taking lots of walks in our town’s parks, going on road trips, and cuddling with our fluffy cat, Marty.
From the very beginning of our marriage we knew that adoption was going to be a part of our family’s story, and we are thrilled to be welcoming our firstborn into our family through the gift of adoption. This child already has a family of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins ready to love them! Our greatest hope and goal is to raise this child in a godly way, and that we would nurture their talents and how God made them so that he or she may live life joyfully and in a way that also impacts others.
Hi, we are Caleb and Emily! We are grateful for the opportunity to share about our family. We have been married for 16 years. We met in Monterrey, Mexico in 2005 as foreign exchange students. Shortly after meeting, Emily was diagnosed with cancer. It was aggressive and her life was almost cut short. Over the course of 5 years, she met a lot of incredible doctors and received treatments that God used to keep her alive. Now, Emily has been in remission for 14 years! Living through such a serious diagnosis, especially during the early years of marriage, taught us a lot about God and life. We have been given a unique perspective and a new outlook.
We adopted our son Thatcher in 2016. He is such a joy to us and raising him is our greatest blessing. We keep in touch with his birth family and we vow to do the same with any future child that is placed with us.
In our home, your child will be loved unconditionally and cherished as the gift that they are. We will teach him/her about the God who created them and loves them. Your child will feel safe and be provided for in every way.
We are praying for you as you consider making this life-altering decision, knowing it doesn’t come easily. God loves you and has a plan for your life.
¡Hola, somos Caleb y Emily!

Jonathan & KatyAnne
Thank you for making the brave decision to place your child in a chosen family’s arms. We have been praying for YOU and for THIS CHILD, and we are so grateful for your courage.
We are Jonathan and Katy Anne. We met at Texas A&M University while studying Philosophy and Psychology/Spanish, respectively. In just two months we were in love and knew God had made us for one another. Now, we have been married for 18 years and lived in Philadelphia for 15 of those. There, we were members of a wonderful church across the street from a seminary. Jonathan now works from home as the Senior Director of Communication for that seminary where he attended and received two master’s degrees. We have lived in Texas for 2 years and are blessed to be surrounded by family and a wonderful church community.
In 2020, after 15 years of owning and operating a restaurant, I sold my restaurant and now work primarily from home as a life coach and professional organizer. We have three beautiful children: Esther Colleen who is in Heaven with the Lord; Julianne Elizabeth who is 6, smart as a whip, and loves cheerleading; and Tuffy who is 4, so very witty, and loves baseball. We are blessed to be surrounded by family and a wonderful church community.
We enjoy time with extended family often and moved back to Texas for this reason! We have quite a lot of family in Houston, as well as Dallas and Austin. We love to do outdoor activities, read books, do arts and crafts, and have pajama parties. Our home is filled with laughter, creativity, and making memories. Above all else, we raise our children in the Lord, teaching them about His love and mercy, and seeking to be parents who serve our children well.
Since the beginning of our relationship in 2004, adoption has been a desire of ours. We believe we are called to adoption, and we also believe the Lord has blessed our family with a home, a local community of family/friends/church, and finances such that we have the opportunity to welcome another child. We are praying for you as you make this decision and would be honored to be given this incredible blessing. We admire you and the courageous decision you are making for this child and look forward to meeting you!
